Welcome to Meet Me In St. Louis...a blog hop where you can meet new bloggers and link up with them, all while learning something new about each of the co-hosts and participants!

Why Meet Me In St. Louis?  Well, being from St. Louis, Missouri, centrally located in the Midwest, I thought it would be a perfect spot to meet up and get to know other bloggers all around the globe!

This month's questions:

My first date with my spouse/significant other was to.....?

He took me ice-skating.  Tony and I had went to high school together and spent much time during those high-school days at the ice rink.  He was a hockey player, I was a hockey cheerleader, but also a figure skater.  It was a perfect date for two people who love the ice.

 

I was first attracted to my spouse/significant other when.....? 

We were in high school.  He actually dated a friend of mine our Freshmen year.  Tony and I didn't date however until almost 8 years after we graduated.

We named our first child, Drew (or Andrew) Michael, because.....?

 I refused to have a JR.  Tony liked the idea of our son to have the same initials as him.  His grandfathers middle name was Andrew so he chose that name.  I wasn't crazy about it until one day someone mentioned the nickname Drew and I fell in love.

If I could relive one thing (experience, time together, vacation, etc.) with my spouse/significant other and had to relive it exactly as it happened the first time around, I would relive.....?

Our wedding.  We had a very non-traditional wedding and reception.  Some loved the style and method, others not so much.  I didn't care, it was ours - our styles, our tastes, our choice.

I don't think I have expressed enough appreciation to my spouse/significant other for.....?

Putting up with my crap.  I'm not always the easiest, neatest, polite-est person in the world.  But he deals with me and *trys* to put me in my place.

he could put up with my crazy family and knew to take my side.

 We named our children all "C" names since my husband's 1st name starts with "C". Now gotta pick out a new name for our 4th child.

If I could relive one thing (experience, time together, vacation, etc.) with my spouse/significant other and had to relive it exactly as it happened the first time around, I would relive.....?

not really sure on this one. We have been married for almost 14 yrs. and have had a variety of struggles we have worked through. Job loss being one of them.

his patience and honesty and his loving interactions with our children.
